This was my first attempt to prepare the restaurant Style Paneer Tikka Masala at home, on demand from my little princess.
And it was a Very Big Success.
Last month i posted the Paneer Tikka Recipe. And now taking it further to prepare Paneer Tikka Masala. :)
Ingredients:
Paneer - 300 gms
Ghee
Capcicum
Onions - 1
Tomatoes - 2
Bay leaf - 2
Crsuhed Green Cardamom -2
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Kasuri Methi - 2 tbsp
Chopped Coriander leaves - for garnish
Cashew nuts - half cup
Cream - 2 tbsp
Salt
Ginger- Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Procedure:
Paneer Tikka: Prepare the Paneer Tikka as described in Paneer Tikka
Gravy:
1. Take a vok, Add Ghee. Add Bay leaf and crushed cardamom.
2. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute. I prepared the ginger garlic paste at home.
3. Next add the onion tomato cashew nut puree and fry for a couple of minutes.
4. Next add garam masala and chili powder and salt and saute.
5. Pour 1 cup water and let it boil till till you see a thick gravy. Add salt as required
6. Add kasuri methi and cook for a couple of minutes.
7. Add the Paneer Tikka and cook for a couple of minutes.
8. Pour the cream and add the coriander leaves.
The delicious Paneer Tikka Masala is ready
Serve it with Naan or Roti or Rice.

Paneer Tikka
I always had a fascination for this Paneer Tikka.
I never thought that I can prepare it at home...maintaining the same authentic taste and aroma
So here it goes...a simple recipe of the delicious Paneer Tikka.
Ingredients:
Paneer/ Cottage Cheese - 400 gms
Capsicum - 1
Onions - 1 big
Tomatoes - 2
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - half tsp
Cummin powder - half tsp
Chaat Masala - half tsp
Yoghurt/ Dahi - 1 cup
Skewers
Salt
Procedure:
1. Take muslin cloth and hang the curd for an hour to drain off excess water
2. Take a bowl and add the curd.
3. Next add all the masalas and salt and mix well.
4. Chop the Paneer into cubes and add some of the curd mixed with masalas. Refrigerate this for a couple of hours (for marination).
5. Next chop the capsicum, Onion and tomatoes and add them to the bowl (with curd and masalas) and mix well. The marination of veggies is not required.
6. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees for 10 mins.
7. In the mean time, arrange the marinated paneer and the veggies on the skewer in a pattern and place on the grill.
8. Grill it for another 20 mins.
The delicious Paneer Tikka is ready.
Serve it with Lemon wedges and Mint Chutney.
